About Dr. Pais

Dr. Pais is residency and fellowship trained and board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Gastroenterology. He also trained in advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He is licensed and practices in the state of Missouri. He is available as a consultant and medical expert witness. Dr. Pais has been evaluating and treating patients for over 14 years. With his training and practice he has special interest in diseases of the elderly and conditions affecting hospital patients.

He has special interest in areas of ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography), EUS (Endoscopic Ultra Sound), feeding tubes (PEG tubes), colonoscopy, gastroscopy/endoscopy, small bowel pill cam (camera pill). He diagnoses and treats various digestive diseases such as abdominal pain, pancreatic cancer, gall stones, disease of the pancreatic and biliary system, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, acid reflux (GERD), gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, difficulty swallowing, constipation, diarrhea, malabsorption, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, weight loss, celiac disease, and liver disease.
